These students placed at region this past weekend in Galveston and will advance to the state competition in Dallas in April: Rebekah Barber placed 5th out of 40 in Cupcake Battle, Jill Henry placed 3rd out of 40 in Cupcake Presentation, Sabrina Nelms and Emily Wittneben placed 3rd in Chapter Service Project Display, Jordan Alvis placed 3rd in Job Interview, Adrian Frausto and Ashton Schiller placed 2nd in National Programs in Action, David Rowell placed 2nd in Toys that Teach, Emily Garcia and Holly Faas placed 1st in Fashion Design, Wyatt Jordan and Jillian Murphy placed 2nd in Chapter Service Project Portfolio, and Treasure Ellerbe placed 1st in Career Investigation! Julica Lou earned a gold medal for her FCSA test. Needville FCCLA also brought home the award for donating the most items to the school supply drive for CASA. GREAT JOB!

The tennis team competed in Cy-Fair today. Raquel Sandoval came in 1st in the consolation bracket for girls singles, and the mixed doubles pair of Hayden Hahn & Sofia Orellana placed 1st in the consolation bracket.



Soccer posted a clean sweep over Columbus Friday night! The Lady Jays won 10-0, while the boys won 6-2!

There will be a 9th and 10th grade parent meeting on Monday, February 10th at 7pm in the high school auditorium. We will discuss class selection for next year, graduation requirements, and 4 year plans. Contact Amy Pohler with any questions.

There will be a Junior Parent Meeting on Thursday, January 30th at 7 pm in the LGI. Information will be presented on the college admissions process, testing, financial aid, and much more. Junior parents and students are encouraged to attend this meeting.

The Boys Soccer game has been moved back to 5:30 this evening at Blue Jay Stadium.

The Student Athletic Trainers attended the Grater Houston Athletic Trainers workshop this past weekend at Shadow Creek High School.
Our Shirt design came in 2nd place…… THANK YOU for all that helped vote!
Our Quiz Bowl Team- Beat Clear Creek High School and advanced to the 2nd round.

The Needville Youth Fair is now accepting applications for the 2020 Queen contest. This is a wonderful opportunity for young ladies to earn scholarship money, bond with classmates and network with our community. Please see Ms. Moran for an application. The due date is Thursday, January 9, 2020.
