The team from SSR Letter Jackets will be on campus on Tuesday, February 27th from 11:35 – 1:20 at the Needville High School Cafeteria to measure for letter jackets, and to take up order forms and payments. All directions on how to order your jacket are in your packet. Please pick up a packet from your Coach, Sponsor or Director if you have not already done so. Thanks and see you at the fitting. UH at Sugar Land is hosting a workshop to discuss the new FAFSA changes. There will also be a computer lab open to assist students/families with filling out the new FAFSA.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 17th from 9:00am-11:30am The event is free, but space is limited. RSVP soon!
Last Sunday, 22 art students from NHS participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Competiton. The Art contest challenges students and schools to think outside the box. The program provides students, Pre-K through 12th grade, the opportunity to compete in district shows, earn scholarships, travel to summer workshops and display artwork in the Hayloft Gallery during the rodeo. Seven students from NHS were honored with awards during the judging process:

Congratulations to the Needville Swim team! Samantha Richards broke last year's district record in the 100 breaststroke. Ava Valchar beat everyone soundly in the 500 and the 200 IM. Matthew Dikeman got 2nd in the backstroke and 4th in the 50. Jordan Bernier got 5th in the 50 and 4th in the 100 breaststroke.
School is back to normal schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17,2024.
