Aquatic Science students in Mrs. Erfurdt, Mrs. Muniz, and Mr. Salazar’s classes investigated the health of the school pond by conducting a series of water quality tests. Working in small groups, they collected water samples and measured important indicators such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity. These tests helped them determine how suitable the pond environment is for aquatic organisms and how different factors can affect water quality. By analyzing their results, students practiced real scientific methods while learning how scientists monitor and protect freshwater ecosystems!
