Title information

NES Family,
Needville Elementary School is excited to announce our upcoming Spring Title I presentation! Parents and guardians will have two opportunities to obtain important information regarding the school's program. The first option is a virtual session scheduled for 7:30 AM on May 8, providing a convenient way for busy families to participate from the comfort of their homes. For those who prefer a face-to-face experience, the second session will take place on May 9 at 5 PM in the school Blue Cafeteria. We encourage all parents to attend one of these sessions to learn more about how Title I benefits our students and how they can be actively involved in their child's education.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Casey at caseyk@needvilleisd.com or (979)-793-4241. Attached is the Zoom link for the virtual meeting and our campus weekly calendar.
Have a great day!

NES Weekly Calendar!

Dear NES Parents/Guardians,
We hope this letter finds you well. As we look forward to the 2024-2025 school year, we are excited to share opportunities for involvement in various campus committees. These committees play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience for our students, and we invite you to consider joining one or more committees that align with your interests and skills.
Campus Improvement Plan (CIP)/Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) Committee: The CIP Committee is responsible for developing and monitoring the Campus Improvement Plan. This plan outlines goals and strategies for enhancing the educational program and improving student performance. Committee members collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to ensure that the plan reflects the needs of our school community. This committee meets four times a year, typically starting at 4 pm. The meetings will last about an hour.
The Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) Committee will develop and implement strategies to increase parental involvement in school activities, improve communication between home and school, and support families in enhancing their children's academic success. This committee meets once a year. During this meeting, we will develop the PFE campus policy, Title I compact, and professional development for our staff in parent and family engagement.
Parent-Teacher Association (PTA): The PTA is vital to our school community, supporting various programs and initiatives that benefit students and families. PTA members organize fundraisers, coordinate events, and advocate for our school's needs. Joining the PTA is a great way to get involved and positively impact our school community. ALL campus volunteers are assigned through the PTA. If you want to volunteer at the elementary school, please join the PTA.
Additional Information: All campus volunteers are coordinated through the Needville ISD Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). So, if you are interested in volunteering on campus, you must join the PTA. You can find more information on the PTA on its social media page, attend a General PTA meeting (available four times a year), or contact them directly at vicepresident@needvillepta.org.
We encourage you to join one or more of these committees to contribute your time, talents, and ideas to our school. Your involvement is invaluable, and we appreciate your support in making our school a great place for all students to learn and grow.
If you want to join any of these committees or want more information, please fill out the following form using the link below:
