A NISD bus was in a minor accident this afternoon, no major injuries. The students have already been placed on a new bus to carry on with drop offs. Please be patient as we adjust to get our Jays home safely.
Catch our Blue Jays under the bright lights tonight at Blue Jay Stadium as we play Brazosport. Kick off is at 7:00. Tickets on sale at the gate $8 for everyone. It's going to be a beautiful night in Blue Jay Country, come out for some social fun, enjoy our band and watch our Sapphires, Twirlers and Colorguard in the stands and on the field. Don't forget when our Jays score our Cheerleaders are extra loud and proud and may have spirit wear to toss to the fans. TOUCHDOWN JAYS!

Varsity Football is kicking off this Friday!!! Come out and watch our boys of fall play West Columbia at 7:00. Tickets are on sale at all campuses and the Central Admin Building until 1:00 Friday. $7 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tickets at the gate are $8 for everyone. Senior Citizen Passes (65+) are free at the Central Admin Building anytime. These do not have to be renewed. If you have one now it is still good for all games, all sports. Gooooo Jays!

Our football times for tonight's scrimmage against Lamar have changed due to a possible flip in the weather conditions. Games are now starting at 3:00 at Blue Jay Stadium with Varsity playing first. Freshman and JV will follow that game.

What a great first day in Blue Jay Country!!! I am sure your kids will sleep well tonight. Remember to ask them all about their day, I am sure they will have lots to tell you. Get them to bed early, day 2 is only 16 hours away.
On a side note, buses are doing their very best to get your children home as soon as possible. The first couple days will take a little bit longer, so please be patient. IF you need to call the bus barn, know that they are also very busy and are working with drivers and the kids to get everyone home safe. Trust our process.
