Dear Needville school-community,
Needville ISD will extend the closure of all campuses with an indefinite return date for the 2019-20 school year. Governor Abbott has announced today that school buildings shall be closed through May 4, 2020. Based on that Executive Order, we wish to embrace the challenge of continuing the home-based instructional process for a successful completion of the 2019-20 school year, whether we return to "normal school" in May or not. If it is determined that we will resume normal operations, it will be announced one week prior. Continue the parent/teacher/campus communication and we will work through this COVID-19 pandemic TOGETHER. This truly is a first for all of us!
Please be safe. Wash hands regularly, disinfect living/working areas, adhere to the social distancing/small grouping requirements and isolate yourself if you are feeling any symptoms. It is up to all of us to stop this virus from spreading!
God Bless to All,
Curtis Rhodes

"Needville ISD will be CLOSED and all extracurricular activities are suspended the week of March 16-20. This is a proactive measure to prevent any spread of COVID-19. This decision was made thoughtfully with input from local health authorities and community leaders in response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 coronavirus situation in Fort Bend County.
